Shalom Malayalam Church commenced as a small prayer group with a few families that first met together in Wellington in December 1999. God honoured the prayer group and performed numerous miracles in the lives of His people.

Mathew and Rachel's vision to establish a Malayalam medium church in Wellington was growing day by day. They endured challenges and hardships with great joy and tears. The arrival of new families and individuals gave a new fillip to this new endeavour. 

Dream came true on 7 December 2003. Shalom Malayalam Church began its Sunday service at Wesley Care Center, Newtown. 

We are evangelical in faith and honour children of God irrespective of national, denominational differences. We work in association with Christian Revival Crusade NZ Inc.

We are committed to preach the gospel throughout the world and glorify the name of the Lord in all things. We have a burning desire to please Him.
